MP WELCOMES MOVE ON DUNBAR A&E

Local MP, John Thurso has welcomed the news that discussions this week between Highland Primary Care NHS Trust and clinicians could pave the way to the reinstatement of the casualty service at Dunbar Hospital.

The MP said:

"I am glad that Highland Primary Care NHS Trust understands the concern of the community over the closure of the Accident and Emergency Department at Dunbar Hospital which Jamie Stone and I expressed to them last week.

It is very good news that all parties have already been brought together and are now talking with a view to an early resolution".
