John Thurso has taken a key part in a Lib Dem survey of businesses across the country. The survey was set up in December by Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg MP who asked MPs to spend time with local businesses over the Christmas break to see how they are coping with the recession.
Their experiences will be reported back to the first parliamentary party meeting of the new year.

"My colleagues and I have been out talking to businesses to see how they are coping during the economic crisis.
"At our first parliamentary party meeting of the new year next week, the Liberal Democrats will be discussing what extra support businesses will need to see them through the downturn."
