Thurso hits out at Brown over Sir Fred's pension pot.

John Thurso MPJohn Thurso MP, Lib Dem Treasury Select Committee member, added to calls for Sir Fred to give up his massive pension pot. "To reward massive failure with a massive £693,000 a year pension pot is mind boggling," commented John. "It is also however, difficult to imagine that Lord Myners was unaware of the decision to reward Sir Fred in this way." As calls mounted for Sir Fred to do the right thing, John Thurso suggested that "perhaps we should ask Gordon to give back some of his prime ministerial pension for being in charge of the economy when it overheated and collapsed too".
