Thurso congratulates Alasdair Christie on spectacular by-election success

Alasdair Christie and the winning Highland teamJohn Thurso warmly congratulated Alasdair Christie today on his stunning by-election victory in West Inverness. Alasdair Christie received almost 60% of the vote in the Highland Council by-election with the SNP candidate only managing to poll around a third of that.

John said "Alasdair has a wealth of experience helping the people of Inverness through the Citizens Advice Bureau and has certainly shown in this campaign that he has the energy and commitment to give the people of Inverness West a strong voice. He will be a real asset to the current Highland Liberal Democrat led Administration and to the Highland Liberal Democrat team as a whole"
