Caithness, Sutherland and Easter Ross is the second largest constituency in the United Kingdom covering an area of 8,834 square kilometres. With around 59,000 people living here it is one of the smallest constituencies in terms of population. The constituency is contiguous with seven Highland Council wards those of North, West and Central Sutherland, Thurso, Wick, Landward Caithness, East Sutherland and Edderton, Cromarty Firth and Tain and Easter Ross (Alness and Evanton are part of the Westminster constituency but not the Scottish Parliamentary constituency).
