About this deal
There is no sign that this is Galbraith's first novel, only that he has a delightful touch for evoking London and capturing a new hero.
But despite the slim chance of success, he is intrigued and takes it on; adding to the long list of cases that he and his partner in the agency, Robin Ellacott, are currently working on.The misdeeds of the UHC in The Running Grave also include sexual assault, unreported deaths, and child trafficking, as are uncovered by Strike and Robin by the end of the book.
Unlike the other books in the series, the focus is more on the case even though the readers are made to sense the yearning of both partners for each other. It’s tough going, and not because it’s bad, or even because it’s over 900 hundred pages long, but because boy is it ever dark. With a book of this length, you need more regular reminders of who people are and their relation to others. So I’ve settled for a crowd-pleaser by one of the most popular authors on the planet, Robert Galbraith. Man kann sagen, "Das Strömende Grab" ist so eine Mischung aus "Böses Blut" vom Handlungsverlauf und "Weißer Tod" von der Komplexität her.
